(Columbus - December 10, 2009) Volunteers from the Columbus Stompers helped make it a happier holiday for dozens of Central Ohio families at the annual CATF/COHPA Holiday Dinner. Stompers members manned the check-in tables, the coat check and even the emcee's podium as more than 200 people celebrated the holiday season at Veterans Memorial Auditorium.

For the 2009 event, the Columbus AIDS Task Force (CATF) teamed up with the Central Ohio HIV Planning Alliance (COHPA) to provide a buffet meal and dozens of gifts for families living with HIV and AIDS.

CATF has been serving the Central Ohio HIV/AIDS community for more than 25 years. COHPA is a newly-formed coalition of HIV-service organizations including Project Open Hand, the Ohio AIDS Consortium, the Ohio AIDS Coalition and CATF.
