Stompers Now on Social Media, Invite All to Follow
The Columbus Stompers are socializing! You can now follow the Stompers on both Facebook (Columbus Stompers group page) and on Twitter (@ColsStompers). Both sites will be updated with the latest events, invitations and Stomper news.
Volunteers from the Columbus Stompers helped make it a happier holiday for dozens of Central Ohio families at the annual CATF/COHPA Holiday Dinner. Stompers members manned the check-in tables, the coat check and even the emcee's podium as more than 200 people celebrated the holiday season at Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
Jim Chakeris will serve another term as the head-honcho of the Columbus Stompers. Chakeris was re-elected at the latest General Membership Meeting.
The returning president says he wants to move the Stompers back into the community and reestablish the organization as a prominent, charitable group, raising money to support worthy causes in Central Ohio's LGBT community.
The Columbus Stompers mourn the passing of Jonathan Hook. Jonathan was an integral member of the 2009 Open Division Team and competed in Washington, DC. His smile, his passion for life and his friendship will be deeply missed.
